Not many T206 Honus Wagner cards are still hoarded away by collectors. Would you pass up the opportunity to make several hundred thousand dollars (maybe even a million)? A fresh-to-the-market Wagner card did surface recently, however, at a Philip Weiss auction, reaching nearly $800,000.

Among the highlights in Lelands November auction was the original document that sent Ted Williams from the PCL's San Diego Padres to the Boston Red Sox ($37,504) and a Babe Ruth bat that tipped the scales at more than $71,000.

The Sports Museum of America will serve as the backdrop to Mastro Auctions' live sale that will take place Dec. 8 in New York City. Among the headlining collectibles is Charles White's 1979 Heisman Trophy.

Among the highlights is PSA 8 1952 Mickey Mantle and a 1911 M116 Sporting Life Christy Mathewson and Walter Johnson (both PSA 9),.

The football thrown by Brett Favre to stun the Cincinnati Bengals in a last second victory on September 20, 1992, recording Favre’s first game-winning touchdown, will be sold in the upcoming October 18th, 2008 Signature Auction to be held in Dallas, Texas.
